ABOUT US
Our clinics provide walk-in medical services
inside major retail outlets that provide convenient,
affordable and quality treatment for routine
medical conditions and preventive care.
When you visit a MedBasics clinic, you will be met by a Certified Nurse Practitioner who can
help you get well and treat a variety of common
illnesses such as allergies, bladder infections,
bronchitis, ear and sinus infections and strep
throat. MedBasics can help you stay Healthy
and handle your routine medical needs like
physical exams, immunizations and flu shots.
No more waiting days for a hard-to-get
doctor’s appointment or sitting for hours in
an over-crowded hospital emergency room.
No more missed days for minor, treatable
illnesses. Our clinics are open every day of
the week and evenings for your convenience.
With operating costs that are up to 89% lower
than the typical medical practice, MedBasics
can pass significant cost savings on to you. |
|
For example, a visit to a MedBasics clinic for strep
throat will cost you $49 versus $329 for that same
treatment at a hospital emergency room and
$109 for treatment at a clinic or doctor's office.
NURSE PRACTITIONERS
According to the American College of Nurse
Practitioners, a Nurse Practitioner is a Registered
Nurse with advanced academic and clinical
experience. Nurse Practitioners are educated
through programs that grant either a certificate or
a master's degree. MedBasics Nurse Practitioners
have extensive clinical experience, and are
supervised by a Physician for consultation and
advice. MedBasics’ Medical Director overviews
all supervising Physicians and treatment protocols.
Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants are licensed to write prescriptions. They also will have access to primary care physicians to make a referral for patients who might have a more serious medical condition.
